The Cliffhanger Lodge is reached on a short, mainly flat ring path (departure and arrival at the Faloria Refuge), which runs along the ridge facing Cortina and reaches the ancient branch of the Faloria cable car.
The old cable car station was chosen in 1993 as the set for the filming of "Cliffhanger", an epic adventure film starring Silvester Stallone.
