Starting from Lake Sorapis, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and fascinating places in the Dolomites. The lake is located about 12 km from Cortina d'Ampezzo and has an altitude of 1,925 meters above sea level.
The intense turquoise color of Lake Sorapis is the peculiar feature of this body of water, which can only leave those who admire it speechless. This particular shade is due to the conformation of the rocks coming from the glacier from which it originates, whose powders, depositing on the bottom of the lake, give it the shades of blue for which it has become famous.
